Curious about a beginner friendly kayaking experience but open questions?
We offer beginners a guided tour in open boats, in order to explore the beauty of the Soča river and
to gain basic kayak knowledge. The most popular beginner experience is »kayaking to secret spots on
Soča River«. This tour is suitable for beginners without any prior kayaking/whitewater kayaking
experience. The only ability we require is that you can swim.
If you enjoy it, we are happy to see you again and teach you how to kayak in a closed boat.
Yes, we can take you down the river with a small or big rafting boat. This boat is bigger and therefore
more stable, so that you can enjoy the view and the water without worrying.
It is also possible to join a double kayak, where you can explore the river like a professional, while
being save. For more details see following link.
As soon as they know how to swim they can join the experience with an open or closed children
kayak. If the kids are too small to paddle independently there is also an option to join the guide in a
double kayak.
Besides solid boats and paddles, you will get a neoprene suite and shoes, life jacket, helmet and
depending on the temperature a splash jacket/cag. For closed kayaks we will also provide spray
skirts.
To prepare the equipment, we will aks you to provide following information: height (cm), weight (kg)
and shoe size (EU shoe size).
Please bring swim suite or bikini, a shirt (we recommend longsleved shirt – to protect you from being
cold or getting sunburnt), and socks. All clothes will get wet during the trip, as you will wear them
underneath kayaking equipment.
In addition to that you will need to bring clothes to change afterwards.
Sun screen and some water might also be helpful.
Phones, sunglasses, keys etc. will stay save in our car, so that you dont lose anything on the river.
There is one morning trip from 08:00 to 12:00 am and an afternoon trip from 14:00 – 18:00 pm (we
will spend 2,5 – 3h on the river, depending on the experience. Extensions are possible according to
prior request). If you book in advance we can meet your wishes regarding the starting time.
We will send you the exact location beforehand, after checking water levels.
If we start in Čezsoča there is a changing room and a toilet.

The guides can take pictures of you on the river. After the experience you receive them via
WhatsApp.
According to your taste and preferences we are happy to advise you, therefore it's best to ask us
directly.
We can help you finding a suitable place, depending on your wishes, budget and personal
preferences (camping, glamping, apartments, hostel, hotel, B&B..) just send us a message together
with your kayak experience request.
For us there is no bad weather for kayaking. We will get wet anyway, so we enjoy our time on the
river in every weather conditions.
